    Ostranauts is een noir ruimteschip-leven simulator die zich afspeelt in het NEO Scavenger universum. De aarde heeft een cataclysmische ineenstorting ondergaan en de rest van het Systeem leeft voort in een staat van kapitalistische dystopie. In deze wereld overleven alleen de sterksten, of degenen met minder integriteit.

    In Ostranauts maak je je eigen kapitein en bouw of pas je je startschip aan met de buit van je gevechten. Je kunt je schip in elke vorm bouwen door gebruik te maken van functionerende modulaire onderdelen. De onderdelen hebben fysieke eigenschappen, interageren met elkaar en kunnen na verloop van tijd slijten. Beheer alles, van werk om de brandstof in de tanks te betalen, tot het zorgen voor de fysieke en emotionele behoeften van je bemanning en natuurlijk om ervoor te zorgen dat de incassobureaus die op je zitten te wachten om je faillissement aan te vragen, net iets langer bij je wegblijven.
