Als je geen Steam-account hebt, moet je de client van de officiële website downloaden, installeren en dan je account aanmaken. Zodra je bent ingelogd op je account, klik je linksonder op "Add game" en dan op "Activate product on Steam". Na een paar keer klikken op "Volgende" kun je eindelijk je cd-sleutel invoeren, het spel wordt automatisch toegevoegd aan je bibliotheek en het downloaden begint.
